Notes:  In 1900, Harry C. Detwiller was living in Griggs County, North Dakota.  It is unclear when he moved to Montana.  His mother Jane Moore Detwiller probably lived with him for a time.  She died 29 Apr 1916 in Paxton, Montana.  In Sep 1918 when Harry registered for the World War I draft, he was farming on a farm near Paxton, Dawson County, Montana.  He had lost his leg previously.  The 1920 and 1930 USA census records report him as farming in Dawson County.  He died 31 May 1936 in Dawson County, and is buried in the Cooperstown Cemetery, Cooperstown, North Dakota.
