| Notes: About 1892, Sarah Hilton and her family moved to Alhambra, California. In 1900,
the Hiltons were probably living at 108 N. Second Street. Sarah was now a widow.
Her oldest daughter Jessie had married, and was also a widow. Frank was working as
a bank clerk. Frank married Mathilda Hildebrand in 1908. In 1910, Sarah was
still listed as head of the household, which consisted of herself and Frank and
Mathilda. Frank was holder of the subscription franchise for the Los Angeles
Times. In 1920, Frank was now listed as head of the household, and as a
salesman for the water company. His mother Sarah was now 77 years old.
