The family was living with his uncle, George Johnsein. George was an insurance
agent. His daughter Florence, age 20 years, was a mangle girl in a laundry, and his
son Stephen, age 17 was a bolt machine worker in a car shop. James's father had
died and Elizabeth was a widow. She was working as a housekeeper
in a private home. The family was completed by Emery, age 13 years, Hattie, age
7 years, and Albert, age 4 years. |
