| Notes: In the 1921 Canada census, Erwin Strome, 39, and his wife, Clara Strome, 36,
both born in Ontario, Canada, were living in St. Peter's Municipality #369, Saskatchewan,
specificially on Sec. 4, Twp. 38, Range 19, West 2nd Meridian. This homestead was located
six miles north of Englefeld, and they were still living here on their 50th wedding anniversary in
1969. Erwin was a farmer. Their children, all born in Saskatchewan, were Vernon, 10,
Mabel, 9, Anton, 8, Myrrel, 7, Gladys, 5, Ralph, 4, and Beulah, 2. The couple had three
more children in the ensuing years. The census recorded their religious preference
as Methodist, and they were members of the United Church in Englefeld. |
