Notes: In the 1910 U.S. census, John Valeth, 36, and his wife Anna [Wienan]
Valeth, 30, were living at 2331 North 62nd Street, Seattle Ward 11, King, Washington. John had
been born in Wisconsin and was a laborer for the city. Helen had been born in Bohemia, Germany,
and immigrated in 1893. They had been married 10 years, and their house was owned free of
mortgage. Their daughter, Helen C. Valeth, 7, born in Wisconsin, attended school.
In the 1920 U.S. census, John, 46, and Anna, 45, were enumerated at the same address. John was
a truck driver for the city water department. Their daughter Helen K. was 17. |
