and had a radio set. Karl was a salesman for a credit system. Ethel was the manager of
a grocery store. Their two children were Rosa Lee, 6, who attended school, and Edwin, 3.
In the 1929 Provo, Utah, City Directory Karl A. and Ethel S. Peterson are listed at 538 S.
6th West, Provo. Karl is listed as a salesman for Startup's and Ethel is listed as working for
Quick Service Grocery. In the 1935 Provo, Utah, City Directory Karl A. and Ethel S.
Peterson are listed at 255 E. 5th North, Provo. Karl is listed as a candy jobber.
One more child, Richard Startup Peterson, was born while the family was living in Provo. |
