Notes:  According to family sources, Anthony Edward Stephenson was born 24 Mar 1879 in Holden, Millard, Utah.  His parents were Anthony Stephenson and Mary Ann Bennett.  Catherine Usslear Johnson was born 12 Feb 1879, also in Holden, Millard, Utah.  Her parents were Willard Richard Johnson and Sarah Crosland.  Anthony E. Stephenson and Catherine U. Johnson were married 12 Apr 1900 in Millard County, Utah.  (One family source reports the marriage taking place in Manti, Sanpete, Utah; however, this is the marriage place of Anthony's second marriage.)

In the 1900 U.S. census, Anthony E. Stevenson, 21, and his wife Usslear Stevenson, 21, were living in Holden, Millard, Utah, with his parents and siblings.  Anthony was a farm laborer.  Their daughter Ellen Constance was born in 1904 and son Anthony William in 1907, both in Holden.  At the time of Anthony William's birth, Anthony Edward was a cheesemaker.  Their daughter Ruth was born in 1909 in Delta*, Millard, Utah.

In the 1910 U.S. census, Anthony E. Stephensen, 31, and his wife Catherine U. Stephensen, 31, were living in Burtner*, Millard, Utah.  *The town's name was changed to Delta in 1911.  Anthony was a general farmer, working on his own account, and owned the farm free of mortgage.  Their children were Ellen, 6, Anthony W., 3, and Ruth, 7 months.  The census enumerated them next to the John Avery Bishop household.

Their daughter Ina was born in 1913, and son Willard Maiben in 1916, both in Delta.  When Anthony Edward Stephenson registered for the World Ward I draft, he listed himself as a farmer, working for himself, residence in Delta.  He was described as being tall, of slender build, with blue eyes and light brown hair.

In the 1920 U.S. census, Anthony E. Stephenson, 40, and his wife Usslear Stephenson, 40, were living in Delta, Millard, Utah.  Anthony was a farmer, working on his own account.  Their children were Ellen, 15, Anthony W., 12, Ruth, 10, Ina 6, and Willard M., 3.  The older four children attended school.

In the 1930 U.S. census, Anthony E. Stephenson, 51, and his wife Usslear Stephenson, 51, were living in Delta, Millard, Utah.  Anthony was employed as a cream tester for a cream station.  They owned their farm, and had a radio.  Their children still at home were Ina, 16, and Willard M., 13, both attending school.

Anthony E. Stephenson, C. Usslear Stephenson C. Usslear Stephenson died 23 Feb 1945 at home in Delta, Millard, Utah.  Death was due to Carcinomatosis.  She was buried 26 February in the Delta City Cemetery, Delta, Utah.  Anthony E. Stephenson married again to Adelia Elzina Lovell Nelson on 21 Mar 1947 in Manti, Sanpete, Utah.  He died 16 Jun 1969 in Nephi, Juab, Utah.  He is buried with his first wife C. Usslear in the Delta City Cemetery.
