Notes:  According to family records, Lawrence Henry Larsen was born 8 Feb 1893 in Fairview, Sanpete, Utah.  His parents were Louis Christian Larsen and Anna Marie Hansena Peterson.  Mary Hortense Allred was born 14 Dec 1894 in Fairview, Sanpete, Utah.  Her parents were James Christopher Allred and Mary Marzetta Howell.  Lawrence H. Larsen married Mary Hortense Allred on 2 Jun 1915 in Manti, Sanpete, Utah.  They had a family of four children.

Rex A. Larsen, their first child, was born 28 Feb 1916 in Fairview, Sanpete, Utah.  Their second was a daughter, Virginia Larsen, born 21 Apr 1917, who died the same day.  She was buried in the Fairview City (Upper) Cemetery, Fairview, Sanpete, Utah.

In the June 1917 World War I draft registration, Lawrence Henry Lawrence, 24, was a farmer, married with one child, living in Fairview, Utah.  He was described as short, of stout build, with light brown eyes and light hair.

In the 1920 U.S. census, Laurence H. Larsen, 26, and his wife Hortense Larsen, 25, were living in Fairview, Sanpete, Utah.  They owned the farm with a mortgage.  Laurence was a farmer, farming on his own account.  Their son Rex A. was 310/12.

In the 1930 U.S. census, Lawrence H. Larson, 37, and his wife Mary H. Larson, 35, were living on North Side Street, Fairview, Sanpete, Utah.  They owned their house with a value of $1,000.  Lawrence was a farmer.   The children were Rex A., 14, and Loy W., 8, both attending school; and Janice A., 47/12.

Lawrence H. Larsen died 20 May 1935 in Fairview, Sanpete, Utah.  Cause of death was lobar pneumonia, with pleurisy as a contributing factor.  He had been a farmer and a miner.  He was buried in the Fairview City (Upper) Cemetery.

In the 1940 U.S. census, Hortense Larsen, 40, now a widow, was living at 31 First Street, Fairview, Sanpete, Utah.  She owned the house with a value of $1,000, had completed 8th grade, and was a cook for a coal mine.  Her daughters at home were Loy, 18, who had completed 1 year of high school, and Janice, 14, who had completed 8th grade.

Mary Hortense Allred Larsen Lawrence Henry Larsen According to family records, Mary Hortense married again to Nels Hansen on 20 Feb 1945 in Utah.  She died 1 May 1960, and was buried in the Fairview City (Upper) Cemetery, Fairview, Utah.
