The Robison Family, George Albert Robison, Susannah Turner Robison Notes:  According to family sources, Benjamin Hancock Robison was born 9 Nov 1831 in Clay, Onondaga, New York.  His parents were Joseph Robison, Jr., and Lucretia Hancock.  Susannah Turner was born 3 Feb 1847 in Milltown, Middlesex, New Jersey.  Her parents were David Turner and Rose Collier.  Benjamin and Susannah were married 26 Mar 1864 in the Endowment House, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah.  This was a second and overlapping marriage for Benjamin.  He had six children with his first wife Lillis Alvira Andree (1832 - 1921), and ten children with his second wife Susannah.


In the 1880 U.S. census, B.J. Wilson, 48, was living with his wife Susannah Robison, 32, in Fillmore, Millard, Utah.  The children were Birdie, 15, Joseph H., 12, Joseph H., 12, Almon D., 10, Rosa May, 8, Benjamin T., 6, John C., 4, Martha A., 1.  The oldest four were attending school.  Also in the household was William H. Robison, 21, a farmer, and son from the first marriage.

Benjamin Hancock Robison died 24 Dec 1882 in Fillmore, Millard, Utah.  He was buried 28 Dec 1882 in the Fillmore Cemetery, Fillmore, Utah.

In the 1900 U.S. census, Susanna Robison, 53, a widow, was living in Fillmore, Millard Utah.  She had had ten children, eight of whom were then living.  She owned the farm free of mortgage.  The children at home were Benjamin H., 26, Zina, 21, and George A., 19.   The latter two were attending school.

Susannah was active in the LDS Church, serving as President of the Primary for many years in Fillmore.  in her later years she lived with her children.  In the Salt Lake City, Utah, City Directory, Susannah T. Robison, the widow of Benjamin H., was a boarder at 867 E 8th South.  In the 1922 City Directory she was a boarder at 343 Wall.

Susannah Turner Robison Benjamin Hancock Robison Benjamin Hancock Robison Susannah died 15 Apr 1938 at the age of 91 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah.  funeral services were held 17 Apr 1938 in the Second Ward Chapel, Fillmore, Utah.  She is buried in the Fillmore Cemetery, Fillmore, Millard, Utah.
