Notes:   Marguerite Anne Hampson (Marge) was born 2 Jun 1934 in Los Angeles County, California.  She was the second daughter of John K. Hampson and Emma May Welch (May).  Her sister Jacqueline was six years older.  Before 1940 her parents marriage ended.

In the 1940 U.S. census, Marguerite A. Thompson, 5, and her sister Jacqueline M. Thompson, 11, were living on a citrus farm on East Side Grand Avenus, Fillmore, Ventura, California.  Listed as daughters, their guardians or foster parents were Lee A. Phillips, 54, and Lola M. Phillips.  Lee was the owner manager of a citrus farm.  Margaret was attending school and her sister had completed 4th grade.  A boarder in the household was John C. Harris, 12, 6th grade.  It is unknown why the two girls were enumerated with the surname of Thompson.

In June 1943, a court hearing was held for the first accounting by a guardian for Jacqueline M. and Margaret A. Hampson.

In the 1950 U.S. census, Marguerite A. Hampson, 15, was living with her mother Mae E. Hampson, 39, and her sister Jacqueline Hampson, 21, at 206 West On Johnson Road, Fillmore, Ventura, California.  Her mother, divorced, was a clerk in a grocery store.  Her sister was a switchboard operator for the telephone company.

In 1950, Marguerite was a sophmore at Fillmore High School.  She was the secretary-Treasurer of the Spanish Club, a yell leader, and active in Girl's Club, Art Club and Tri-Y's.

Marguerite married Wilfred Miller (Will), on 2 Aug 1974.  Their Southern California residences included 1146 Stanley Ave., Apr. 2, Glendale, 9575 Broadway, Apt. 7, Temple City (1978), and a Mobile home park at 15454 Horace St. #85, San Fernando (1978).  They were here during the 1994 Northridge Earthquake.  About 2000, they retired and moved to Sacramento.  In the Spring of 2004 they were staying with Will's daughter Kathleen in Newport beacause of Will's knee surgery.

Marge died in 2010 and Will passed away in 2016.  Their burial place is unknown.
