Notes: Louise was born in Jan 1845 in the state of New York. Her parents were born in Germany, but their names are not known. She married Charles Young about 1868. Charles was in the jewelry business. In 1880, Louise and Charles were living at 47 Crawford Street, Newark, Essex, New Jersey. They had three children, namely, Lydia, Ella, and Walter. In 1900, the family was living at 124 Wright Street in Newark. Lydia was no longer in the household, but Ella had married, and she and her husband, Edward Baldwin, were living with them. Their son Walter, age 22, was still single, and living in the household.

In 1910, Louise, now age 65, had been widowed for three years. She and her son Walter were living at 62 Vanderpool Street in Newark. She probably died before 1920 as she has not been found in the 1920 census records.
