Notes: Charles and Louise were married about 1868. They had three children, namely, Lydia born about 1871, Ella, born in Nov 1884, and Walter born in Jan 1878. All three children were born in New Jersey. In 1880, the family was living at 47 Crawford Street, Newark, Essex, New Jersey.

In the 1885 NJ census, Louisa and Charles P. Young were living in the 3rd Ward of Newark. Their children were Lydia L. S., Walter C., and Ella M. In 1900, they were living at 124 Wright Street, Newark. Lydia had left the home, and Ella had married Edward James Baldwin.

Charles died about 1907. In 1910, Louise was living at 62 Vanderpool Street, Newark, with her son Walter. Louise probably died before 1920, as she is not found in the 1920 census records.
