Notes:  Edna Robena Detwiller was born 3 Sep 1910 in Brandon, Manitoba.  Her parents were John William Detwiller and Margaret Campbell Brown.  A brother and sister died as infants.  Her brother William Herbert was born in 1918, and a sister Muriel in 1925.

In 1935 the family was living in Douglas, Neepawa, Manitoba.  According to the Canada Voters Lists, Edna was a dressmaker; her father was a laborer.  In 1940, the family was living at 340 Eleventh St., City of Brandon, Manitoba.  Edna was a dressmaker, her father a patrol man, and her brother Herbert a laborer.

The family moved to British Columbia about 1947.  In 1949, the Canada Voters Lists identify the family living at 1747 East Fifth Street, Vancouver.  Edna was a steamstress, her father a stableman, her brother Herbert a mechanic, and sister Muriel a nurse.  In 1953, Edna was listed as a saleswoman, her father as retired.

Edna's father died in 1954, and her mother in 1955.  At the time of her mother's death, and in 1957, Edna was living at 1522 Salsbury Drive, Vancouver, B.C.  In 1965 her address was 1704-24 Kitchener Street, Vancouver.  In 1972 and 1972, her address was 4430 Slocan - #1, Vancouver.  She was a salesclerk, last working for Eaton's, one of Canada's largest department store chains.

Edna died 11 Nov 1979 at Surrey Memorial Hospital, Surrey, British Columbia.  A malignant melanoma had mestastized, and cause of death was bronchopneumonia.  Her last address was 10268-128A STreet, Surrey, B.C.  She was buried 16 Nov 1979 in Valley View Memorial Gardens, Surrey, British Columbia.
