Notes:  Emil Anhorn was born 4 May 1904 in Irvine, Alberta, Canada.  He was the oldest of ten children of Joseph Anhorn and Christina Mueller, immigrants from Russia.  In the 1916 Saskatchewan census, Joseph, 34, and Christina, 35, were living in the Rural Municipality of Big Arm, Last Mountain, Saskatchewan.  Joseph was a farm laborer.  The children were Emil, 12, Hugo, 10, Fred, 7, Goltove(sp?), 6, and John, 3 years.  In the 1921 Canada census, Joseph was now a farmer, farming on a different section.  The children were Emil, 17, who was now old enough to farm, Hugo, 14, Fred, 12, Golloff (sp?), 10, and John, 8.

Emil married Olive Alma Millar, who died 4 Jan 1990 in Vernon, British Columbia.  At the time of her death they were living at 2104-28 Ave., Vernon, British Columbia.  She is buried in the Vernon Cemetery, Vernon, North Okanagan Regional District, British Columbia

Emil married Marion Henrietta Detwiller, James) Anhorn on 5 May 1992.  She was the widow of his brother Fred.  They may have made their home in British Columbia.  Emil died in 2004, and is buried with his first wife Olive in Vernon Cemetery, Vernon, British Columbia.  Marion died 27 Mar 2012, probably in Salmon Arm, British Columbia.
