Notes:  According to her obituary, Clara M. Brehm was born 19 Jun 1905 in Lucas, Dunn, Wisconsin.  Her parents were Charles Brehm and Lucy Haffelder.  She attended St. Joseph's Elementary School in Menomonie, graduated from Dunn County Normal School, and taught in elementary schools for several years. Clara married William Mousel on 4 Jun 1930.  They farmed in the Farm Hill area of Elmwood, before moving to the Elk Mound area in 1942.  They became bar operators, and were builing their own bar when her husband William died suddenly.  Clara finished the bar, and operated it as "Clara's Bar" for 35 years.  She also raised their five children. Clara married Harold James Detwiller about 1965.  He died 12 Mar 1975 in Menomonie, Dunn, Wisconsin.  Clara lived to the age of 102.  She spent her last five years at Dove Healthcare Nursing and Rehabilitation, Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  She died 25 Feb 2008, and is buried in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Elk Mound, Dunn, Wisconsin.
