Notes:  According to family sources, Robert Charles Allsop was born 21 Aug 1920 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah.  His parents were Charles William Allsop and Colenso Farrimond.  He married Faye Audrey Bramble on 11 Apr 1941 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah.  The marriage was later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  They had a family of three children.

Robert enlisted in the U.S. Army on 6 Apr 1943, in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He had completed one year of college, and his occupation was listed as checker.  He served as a mechanic and was discharged 11 Feb 1946.  From 1953 through 1975, the Salt Lake City, City Directories list Robert and his wife Faye living at 3139 Melbourne St., Salt Lake City.  Robert worked as a counterman or salesman for Bearing Service and Supply Co. for 39 years.  His wife Fay died 30 Apr 1978 of ALS.

Robert married Ruth Robison Ahlstrom on 21 Apr 1980.  They evidently continued to live in his home on Melbourne St., Salt Lake City, Utah.  Robert was an active member of the LDS Church, and he and Ruth were Temple workers at the Jordan LDS Temple.  They also traveled extensively worldwide.

Robert died 26 May 2007 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah.  Funeral services were held 31 May, at the Kenwood 1st Ward.  He was buried in the Larkin Sunset Gardens, Sandy, Utah, with his first wife Fay.
