Notes: Thomas J. Ferrell, 52, and Bertha F. Hunt, 46, (nee Bertha L. Fischer) were married 26 June 1937,
in Covina, Los Angeles, California. They were married by the Rev. A.O. Elliott, a
Presbyterian minister. They had both been widowed.
Bertha moved into Thomas' home at 121 South Granada, Alhambra. In the 1940 U.S.
census, Thomas was a real estate agent. Bertha was a beauty operator. Living
with the copule were their 15 year old sons from their prior marriages. The
marriage was a short one as Thomas died 8 Dec 1940 of a heart attack.
Thomas is buried in the San Gabriel Cemetery, San Gabriel,
California, in an unmarked grave.
