Notes:  According to family records, Reed Clemens Walker and Dortha Pace were married 2 Mar 1935 in Ely, White Pine, Nevada.

In the 1940 U.S. census, Reed, 35, and Dortha, 29, were living at 954 Sperry Drive, Colton, San Bernardino, California.  Reed was an apiarist, or bee keeper.  They both had completed two years of college.  They had a daughter Mitzi Jean, 2.  Reed's brother Ned S. Walker, 21, also an apiarist, was living with the family.

Reed and Dortha had three more daughters, including a set of twins.  By 1941 the family was living in Bloomington, San Bernardino County, California.  Their various Bloomington addresses included 57 N. Locust Street, and 10063 Locust Avenue, Bloomington, their long time residence.

Reed C. Walker, Dortha P. Walker Reed spent 63 years as a bee keeper.  He was an active member of the community, serving on the local school and water district boards, and participating in Lions.  Dortha completed her education at Redlands University then taught school for 17 years.  She was also very active in the community, serving on the boards of many civic organizations.

Reed died 17 Mar 1988 in Bloomington, San Bernardino, California.  Dortha died 11 Dec 2000 in Newport Beach, Orange, California.  They are buried in the Green Acres Memorial Park, Bloomington, San Bernardino, California.
