Notes:  Fredrick Carl Gans and Ida M. Haley were married 30 Apr 1980 in Minneapolis, Ottawa, Kansas.  In the 1920 U.S. census, Fred and Ida were living in Buckeye Twp., Ottawa, Kansas.  Fred was a general farmer, and they owned their own farm.  By the 1925 Kansas State census, they had two daughters, Mary, 4, and Helen, 2.

In the 1930 U.S. census, Fred and Ida's daughters were now 9 and 7 years.  The value of the farm was $9,505. and the family owned a radio.  By the 1940 U.S. census, two more children had been added to the family.  These were Dale, 9, and a daughter, 4 years old.

Ida died 20 Jul 1975, and Fred died 24 Jan 1988.  Their last residence was in New Cambria, Saline, Kansas.  They are buried together in the Greenville Cemetery, Niles, Kansas.
