Notes: Lester Lavern Smith and Thaddia Lillal Waylan Garrison were married sometime
after 1966, probably in Ottawa County, Kansas. Lester's first wife Jennie had died
3 Jul 1966. Thaddia's first husband Gale Garrison had died in 1962.
In 1971, Thaddia was a reporter for the Delphos Republic when she reported on the "Delphos Kansas
UFO Landing Ring". She and Lester went out to the site to inspect it.
Lester died 11 Apr 1986 in Delphos, Ottawa, Kansas. He is buried with his first wife in the
Delphos Cemetery, Delphos, Ottawa, Kansas. In 1993, Thaddia was living at
108 N. Custer Street, Delphos. Thaddia died 17 Feb 2009 at the Good Samaritan Society,
Minneapolis, Kansas. She is also buried in the Delphos Cemetery. |
