Photograph Album.  Marion Noble, compiler, cir. 1946 - 1949.  Identification by Karen Hancock and Donald K. Olson, 1993.

The front endpage has a photograph of Agnes Detwiller Noble with A Memorandum of description:  "Jan. 1948.  Agnes Detwiler Noble.  The Greatgrand mother of the children whose pictures are in this album.  She was born Mr. 30, 1839.  Married Feb. 10, 1860 to Walter Noble, who was born Sept. 25, 1831.  They had a family of 9 children, 21 Grandchildren, and 26 GreatGrands."

The back of the photograph contains the following fuller account:
Agnes Detwiller Noble.  The Greatgrand mother of the children whose pictures are in this album.  She was born March 30, 1839.  Married Feb. 10, 1860 to Walter Noble who was born Sept. 25, 1831.  They had nine children.  Five of whom married and had children.  There were 21 Grand children, 26 Greatgrand children living Jan. 1948.

Agnes D. Noble died on Oct. 19, 1914.  She was 75 years old and 6 mos. & 18 days. Walter Noble died in Sept. 1901 a few days before he was 70 years old.
Note:  Agnes died 19 October 1914, in Alhambra, California, before any of her great-grandchildren pictured in the album were born.

The album is 13" x 10½", brown cover, string-bound, black pages, photographs mounted with photo corners; inscriptions written on the pictures' bottom borders.  Photographs numbered and index prepared by Karen Hancock.  Photographs include:
