Abstract of the land description made by Lyle Detwiller, who wrote:  [It is] Christian and Marion Detwiller's first farm.  It is located about two miles north of Hespeler.  It is a beautiful place with a nice lake located right next to the farm house.  On the maps for Waterloo Twp., it is identified as Absalom Snyder's farm.  It is still in the Snyder family today [cir 1993].
