"Home Health Unit Aids Writer's Recovery".
Undated [7 Jan 1969] newspaper article from miscellaneous Miller/Baldwin memorabilia.
A 67-year-old Sherman Oaks Motion picture writer who has been unable to work for the past three years due to illness, is slowly getting back to his profession  —  thanks in part to treatment received through the San Fernando Valley Home Health Agency.
Earl Baldwin, who has 84 feature screen credits for motion pictures and 26 television shows to his credit since entering the writing field in 1923, is back at work doing freelance writing for television following his forced layoff.

[Layoff due to pancreas trouble, hospital stays, and home physical therapy.]

He and his wife Mildred live in a second-floor apartment at 15232½ Dickens St.
Following short walks each morning with his wife, Baldwin dictates his stories to her and then has them typed by a commercial secretary.
A resident of the Valley for the past 30 years, Baldwin boasts of being the "best unknown writer in Hollywood".
