QUIET CEREMONY SELECTED FOR WEDDING
Mr. and Mrs. Kimball Are Honeymooning at Lake Tahoe
At a quiet ceremony at the home of her parents, Miss Betty Lawyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Lawyer, 30 North Third Street, Alhambra, became the bride of Ward Kimball, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce P. Kimball.  The couple are spending their honeymoon at Lake Tahoe and vacation spots in the North.
The romance culminates their meeting at the Walt Disney Studios, where both are employed, Mr. Kimball being an animator there.  For a week following the announcement of their intention to wed, cartoons depicting the couple were posted over the studio walls by their artist friends.  A collection of the cartoons is being saved to illustrate the event.
Dressed in a white crepe sports dress and carrying a boquet of orchids and lillies-of-the-valley, Mrs. Kimball was attended by Miss Dorothy Seay of Hermosa Beach, maid of honor.  Mr. Kimball's brother, Webster, of Santa Barbara, was best man.
Only members of the immediate families attended the wedding, at which Dr. S. J. Kennedy, Presbyterian minister of Alhambra, officiated.
Mr. and Mrs. Kimball will be at home to their friends at 30 North Third Street, Alhambra, after their return.
Graduate of Pasadena Junior College, the bride has studied art since the beginning of her high school term in Alhambra, where she was also active in dramatica, taking the lead in the senior class play.  The bridegroom studied at both the Santa Barbara College and the Santa Barbara College of Arts.
