OAK CITY, Millard County — LeRoy Walker, died Aug/ 8, 1980, in Delta. He was born Aug 27. 1891. in Oak City. The son of Simeon and Kate Platt Roper Walker. He married Lucy Anderson July 10, 1914, in the Manti Temple. She died in 1958. He married Viola Trimble. He taught school for many years as a coach and also taught shop. Surviving are his wife of Oak City; two sons, Dr. Don S. Walker, Salt Lake City; Lt. Col. Roy Walker, Jr. (retired), Orem; one daughter Helen preceded him in death; 10 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Clara Stout, Salt Lake City. Funeral services Tuesday 11 a.m. in the Oak City LDS Ward Chapel. Friends call Nickle Mortuary, Delta, Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday at the Ward Chapel prior to services. Burial Oak City. | ||||
