First, a farewell tribute to Charles Lewsadder who is leaving his twelve-year post as Manager and Corporation President of the ski lifts to return to his former career as a stockbroker. His contributions to the mountain include widening most of the major ski runs, modernizing all the chairlifts, and purchasing and putting to use a fleet of updated snow-grooming equipment. Welcome Peter Olson, new president of the Western Resorts partnership. Pete has been Corporation Vice President and a strong behind-the-scenes support for the Mt. Baldy Ski Lifts. A certified Public Accountant with a business background, Pete has directed construction and headed the Pro Ski Patrol for the past five years. This season Pete will focus on ski area management and Eric Olson will direct the Pro Ski Patrol. | ||||
