Death notice:  Walter Gregory MacCluer Noble Published 3:39 pm Monday, January 8, 2024 By Wallows County Chieftain (https://wallowa.com/author/wallowaeditor). Walter Gregory MacCluer Noble ("Greg" Noble") passed away on the morning of Jan 3., 2024 at the Willamette Valleu Medical Center in McMinnville, Oregon, after a long and valiant fight with cancer.  He was born June 21, 1944.  A gathering to remember Greg will be held at the passive solar home he built with his wife, Carol, located at 71414 Whiskey Creek Road in Wallowa, Oregon, on March 23, 2024 at 11 a.m.  Come to share stories and say goodbye to this great man.
