Notes:  Clyde was born in Indiana and moved to Napa when he was 15 years old.  He lived in Napa's Berryessa area where he worked as a farm hand.  Clyde married Edith Samuels in 1907 when he was 23 years old.
Clyde Archibald Land They then resided at Spenser Street in Napa while Clyde worked as a clerk.  By 1910, Clyde and his family were living on Browns Valley Road while he worked out as a farm laborer.

In 1913 Clyde moved his family to Alberta, Canada, where he homesteaded land for six years.  He returned to Napa County in 1920, bought a ranch in Yountville, and operated it for the remainder of his life.  Clyde, along with his four children, joined the Napa Presbyterian Church on 1 Apr 1923.

Clyde maintained his voter registration as a Republican in Napa County from 1908 through 1912 and from 1922 through 1936.  He registered as a Democrat from 1938 through 1944.

Clyde was member of the Napa County Farm Bureau and the California Prune Association.

Clyde passed away suddenly at age 83.  During the last 30 years of his life he lived at the family home at 6392 St. Helena Highway in Yountville, California.
