Notes:  In March 1901, Walter was 20 years old and living at his parent's farm in Bosanquet, Lambton County, Ontario, with nine of his brothers and sisters.

Walter Catt post card In July 1906, Walter was a 24-year-old single living in the Swan Lake area of the Rural Municipality (R.M.) of Lorne, Manitoba.  At that time he owned four horses, two cattle, and 8 hogs and pigs.

In November 1907, while living at Swan Lake, Walter sent the post card shown at the right to Mysie Catt at Jericho, Ontario.

Sometime after 1906, Walter changed his surname to Catte.
