Notes:  Angelo's parents were born in Italy, spoke Italian, immigrated to the U.S., and settled in Napa, California.  Geno grew up in Napa with his sisters Ann, Edith, and Norma and his brothers Angelo and Mario. In the late 1930s Geno dated Vi Williams before she married Bud Hancock.  See the photo at the left.  In 1939 Geno worked as a florist at Short's Flower Shop. The photo at the right shows Geno in 1943 holding baby Gayle Whitthorne. The photo below shows Geno (at the left) near the Green Lantern restaurant on Jefferson Street in Napa in about 1944. Geno had Alzheimer's disease and was put in a home prior to his death on 6 Dec 1993.
