I conclude that Sophie Marian are the most likely correct given and middle names of this
person, and that Sophia was her nickname.

In 1901 at age 22 Sophie worked as a drapers assistant to a silk merchant and draper. In 1907 she was reported as a housekeeper on a farm; however, her occupation entry is blurred and uncertain.
