  2. George M., a doctor, served in both the Mexican and Civil Wars and died in Fayette county, Tennessee
  3. Samuel H. served in both the Mexican and Civil Wars, moved to Benton, Arkansas, and was a lawyer, politician, and editor
  4. DeWitt Clinton served in the Mexican War, resigned from the U.S. Navy, and was killed in Nicaragua in 1851 or 1852 while serving as a lieutenant in General Walker's First Filibuster Expedition
  5. James K. P. died at home of a disease contracted while serving in the Mexican War
  6. Martha, whose middle initial was either "A" or "J", probably died before 1888

  11. Bromfield Ridley was a cashier at the National Bank of Shelbyville, an attorney, mayor for 9 years, city judge, and justice of the peace.
