Notes:  At the time of their marriage Joseph was 26 years old and Carrie was 20.  Both resided in Plympton, Lambton County, Ontario. Joseph and Carrie had four children who were born in Lambton in 1901, 1903, 1905, and 1910, respectively. Due to Carrie's untimely death in 1911, the marriage lasted only 12 years and 4 months.  Joseph became a widower with four young children.
