ELLA, wife of Frank Hancock, a former resident of Forest, died at their home in Wallaceburg on Friday of last week, aged 31 years.  The remains were brought to Forest on the 2:40 express Saturday afternoon and conveyed to Beechwood cemetery for internment.  Services were conducted by the Salvation Army captain of Wallaceburg, assisted by others from Thedford.  The bearers were Wm. Gillis, Jas. Wakefield, W. H. Trick, M. Nelson, Albert Duncan and Wm. Morley.  Deceased was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fisher of Thedford, and they with the husband and five children survive.  Typhoid fever was the cause of death and Mr. Hancock and one child were also down with the disease but both are recovering.  Mr. and Mrs. Fisher, Jas. Hancock of Pt. Edward andWm. Hancock and wife of Hespeler were among those who attended the funeral.  Much sympathy is expressed for the bereaved relatives.
