Note:  The Matthew Williams in this photo looks like the same person that is posted on the Rev. Matthew Williams page — albeit a few years younger.  However, tintypes became popular in the 1860s making this very unlikely that the photo is the Rev Matthew Williams.  It is Mike Levy's guess that the photograph is of Matthew Williams, the son (who would have been in his 40s during the 1860s) and not of his father.  (Also see Source 1190 from Mike Levy.)
