Notes: Henry Raymond Fishback was born 5 Oct 1902 probably in Alhambra, California, as that is where the family residence was. His parents were Henry Fishback and Rachel Hildebrand. He had an older brother Charles, born in 1889, and sisters Minnie, born in 1891, Harriett in 1893, Matilda in 1895, and Francis in 1898. His sisters Adel and Almira were born in 1906 and 1909, respectively. In the 1910 U.S. census, the family was living at 28 S. Electric Street, Alhambra. His father and older brother Charles were carpenters. His sister Minnie was a telephone operator. In 1911, his younger brother Albert was born. His sister Francis, who had been born mentally or physically retarded, died in 1915.

In the 1920 U.S. census, the family was still living in Alhambra. His father was now a building contractor. Henry was working as a laborer in a lumber yard, most likely the Olson Lumber Company owned by Frank Olson, his mother's cousin.

Henry married Ruby Adele Demell on 29 May 1925 in Alhambra, Los Angeles, California. Their son Lee Fishback was born in 10 Apr 1926. In the 1930 U.S. census, the family was living at 3020 W. 80th Street, Los Angeles, and Henry was a millwright for the lumber company. By 1934, they had moved back to Alhambra, living in a succession of houses in the southern part of the city. Henry was registered to vote as a Democrat. He died 2 Jul 1972, his last residence being in Alhambra. He is buried in the San Gabriel Cemetery, San Gabriel, California.
