Notes:  Carl Theodore Mason was born 21 Oct 1915 in Jamestown, Chautauqua, New York.  His parents were Krist Mason and Anna Neilsen.  Both had been born in Denmark.  Krist had immigrated to the United States in 1904, and became a naturalizaed citizen in 1912.  Anna had immigrated in 1906, also becoming a naturalized citizen.  Kris was the proprietor of a grocery store, working on his own account.  Carl's name was usually recorded as C. Theodore, and his nickname was Ted.  He had a brother one year older named Haus or Chilton. In the 1920 U.S. census, Ted was living with his family at 939 E. 2nd Street, Jamestown Ward 5, Chautauqua, New York.  By the 1925 New York State census, the family was living at 100 Barrows Street, Jameston Ward 4.  In the 1930 U.S. census Haus or Chilton does not appear.  In the 1940 U.S. census, Theodore has completed 4 years of college, and his father is still running the grocery store. According to family reports, Ted married Isabelle Rushworth on 14 Oct 1940, probably in Jamestown.  In 1941 when her father O. Nelson Rushworth passed away, the couple was living in Miami Springs, Florida. Ted attended the Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine, becoming a world renown veteinarian.  He and Isabelle had two daughters.  The first was born in Atlanta, Georgia, the second in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Isabelle died 2 Jul 1966 in Little Rock, Pulaski, Arkansas, at the age of 49.  Her burial place is unknown. Ted married Ruth Irene Kelly, possibly 14 Oct 1968, in Florida.  In 1986, the Mason Animal Hospital was located in Little Rock, Arkansas.  In 1993, their address was 4417 Kenyon Dr., Little Rock.  Ted died 21 Oct 1992 in Little Rock.  His burial place is unknown.  Irene Kelly Mason died 29 Jan 2010.
