Notes:  Marion Ida Pratt* was born 2 Mar 1905 in Tyrol Twp., Griggs, North Dakota.  Her parents were Robert Hamilton Pratt and Mary Detwiller.  She had an older brother, Robert Earl, born in 1900, and an older sister, Erma Mae, 1902.

In the 1910 U.S. census, the family was living in Cooperstown, Griggs County, and Robert was the manager of some kind of shop.  The family now included Howard Henry, born in 1909.

In the 1915 North Dakota census, the family was living on their own farm in Tyrol Twp., Griggs, about 6 miles north of Cooperstown.  Her father Robert was a grain farmer, and also raised stock.  The family now included Wallace Irving, born in 1910, and Kenneth Raymond, 1912.  In the 1920 U.S. census, the family was complete, with Lawrence Everett, born in 1917.

Marian married Henry Moote Baldwin on 10 Oct 1928 in Cooperstown, Griggs, North Dakota.  Their first daughter, Peggy Ann, was born 5 Nov 1929 in Cooperstown.  In the 1930 U.S. census, Marion and Henry were living in Hugo Twp., Steele County, North Dakota.  Henry was a grain farmer.  Their daughter, Peggy N. Baldwin was 5 months old.

Their first son, Robert Lee, was born 8 Aug 1932 in Hope, Steele, North Dakota.  Their third son Richard Lyle was also born in Hope.  The family is not found in the 1940 U.S. census.

Henry died 25 Dec 1964 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  It is not known why Oklahoma.  His S.S. record states his last residence was North Dakota.  Marian's last residence according to her S.S. record was Glyndon, Clay, Minnesota.  But she died 28 Jan 1986 in Fargo, Cass, North Dakota.  Both are buried in the Cooperstown Cemetery, Cooperstown, Griggs, North Dakota.

*Family notes give her first name as Ida, middle name Marion.  However, she is listed in every record except the 1920 U.S. census with her first name Marion.
