Notes: Margery was born 18 Sep 1919 in Los Angeles City, Los Angeles County, California. In the 1920 USA census, she and her parents were living at 3101 Normandy Avenue, Los Angles, California when she was 4 months old. She grew up on 42nd Place in Los Angeles. In the 1930 USA census, she had two sisters, and the family was living at 4652 Oak Grove Circle, Los Angeles. In the 1940 USA census, the family was still living on Oak Grove Circle. Margery, age 20, was a secretary to the Dean of Men for a college. She had completed 2 years of college.

Margery married Rouen James Westcott, twice. They eloped and were married in Ventura County 30 Sep 1939. There second wedding was probably 20 Jun 1940, about the time of Rouen's graduation from Occidental College. Margery graduated from Occidental College in 1941, and then taught school for many years.

Margery and Rouen had four children. For many years the family lived at 894 Sussex Road, San Marino, California. For 10 years they lived in San Pedro before moving to Huntington Beach. Rouen died of lung cancer on 8 Sep 1990.

In her later years Margery lived in Huntington Beach, as the Huntington Beach phone director lists her under her husband's name from 1995 through 2000. Margery had Alzheimer's disease, and moved into a nursing home in Irvine in 2005. She died 16 Apr 2008, and her ashes were scattered at sea outside of Newport Harbor.
