Upon marriage, Barbara moved in with Joseph and his parents, Charles and Bertha Harsh, at their 5254 Dalhia Drive home in Los Angeles. Voter registration records show them living there through 1954.

Together, Barbara and Joseph had six children. The 5254 Dalhia Drive address became the family's long time residence, as they are listed in the phone book through 2002. Barbara died 25 Jan 2006 in Los Angeles, California. She was preceeded in death by her husband in 1994. She may be buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, with her husband.
