Notes:  According to her obituary, Betty Jensen was born 14 Nov 1932 in Provo, Utah, Utah.   Her parents were Alvin Joseph Jensen and Sylvia Mae Conover.  She was the fifth of seven children. In the 1940 U.S. census, Betty was living with her family at 1262 West 5th North, Provo, Utah, Utah.  Her father, Alvin J. Jensen, 45, had completed eight years of school and was a laborer for a sand and gravel company.  Her mother Sylvia M. Jensen, 40, had completed four years of high school.  They owned their house, valued at $2500., which was on a farm.  The children were Margaret, 20, who had completed three years of high school and was a laundress in a laundry; Alvin Jack, 16, two years of high school; Cora, 13, seven years of school; Lois, 11, four years of school; and Betty, 7.  Two additional children were later born, James and William. Betty Jensen married Lyle G. Stewart on 30 Oct 1948 in Utah County, Utah.  She was not quite 16 years old, he was almost 29.  They made their home in Pleasant Grove, Utah, Utah.  They had two children, David Lyle and Martha Lynette.  The marriage did not last, and Betty filed for divorce on grounds of mental cruelty.  The decree of divorce was final 11 Oct 1956, having been filed nunc pro tunc 11 May 1956. Betty Stewart married Joe Milton Miles (b. 25 Jul 1933) on 15 Dec 1956 in Utah County, Utah.  They had two children, Alvin Ralph and Susan Ruth.  Betty and Joe moved to Kearns, Utah, Utah in 1959 where they raised all four children. After the children left home, Betty worked for Brasher's Auto and then as a food service worker for the VA Hospital.  In the Salt Lake City, Utah, City Directory, 1959 and 1960 Betty and Joes are listed at 5881 S 4055 W (Kearns).  Joe was an engineer working for Eimco Corporation, where he designed water treatment equipment. Joe Milton Miles died at home in Kearns, Salt Lake, Utah on 5 September 2014.  His ashes were scattered over his favorite golf courses.  Betty Jensen Miles died 9 Jan 2015 in Kearns, Salt Lake, Utah.
