Notes: Minnie Ethel McNaught (known as Ethel in her later years) and John Alexander Flock
were married 5 Nov 1921 in Toronto, Ontario. Their marriage certificate states
that she was 33 years old, and a teacher. John was 35 years and a
"demonstrator". At some point in time they made their home in the City of Guelph,
at 15 Forbes Avenue. Their only child Murray Alexander was born in 1922, and
grew up in Guelph.
John died at home on 19 Jun 1929, suffering from cancer.
His occupation was listed as "lecturer". After the death of John, Ethel
continued to live in the home until at least 1953. Their son Murray went
on to become a medical doctor. Ethel died 13 Apr 1967. Both she and John are
buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Guelph, Wellington, Ontario. |
