Click to enlarge In the 1911 Canada census, only Alberta, Minnie, James and Ida were living at home.  Alberta was a school teacher, and Minnie and James were listed as students.  Minnie later became a school teacher, and she went by her middle name Ethel.  In 1912, Mary and Mern Noble, along with their mother Agnes, visited the McNaught family at Deerbank.  At right is a group photograph taken by Mern.

Ida Beth McNaught, Minnie Ethel McNaught Ethel is not found in the 1921 Canada census records.  She married John Alexander Flock on 5 Nov 1921 in Toronto, York, Ontario.  They made their home in Guelph, Wellington.  Their only child Murray Alexander was born in 1922.  John died of cancer on 5 Nov 1929.  Ethel continued to live in their home at 15 Forbes Avenue, Guelph, until at least 1953.  She is listed in the list of registered voters in 1940, 1949, as a widow, and 1953, as a teacher of music.  Ethel is seen at left with her sister Beth and niece Ariel.

By 1957, Ethel was living in an apartment at 35 Douglas Street, Guelph.  According to the list of registered voters, she was a music teacher through 1958, then listed as retired in 1963 and 1965.  According to family sources, Ethel died 13 Apr 1967, probably in Guelph.  She is buried with her husband in Block 3 of the Woodland Cemetery, Guelph, Wellington, Ontario.
