Notes:  Henry Alexander McNaught and Rebecca Dunn Detwiller were married 5 Oct 1881 in the Avonbank Presbyterian Church in Fullarton Twp., Perth, Ontario.  The witnesses for their wedding were James McNaught, Henry's brother, from Pennsylvania and Marion Detwiller, Rebecca's sister, of Fullerton.  $5.00 was paid.
The Henry McNaught Family Henry and Rebecca settled in at Deerbank Farm, the McNaught's family farm.  Eight children were born of this marriage.  Alberta (Bert) was born in 1882, followed by Russell in 1884, David Vernon in 1885, Minnie Ethel in 1888, Harry Lorne in 1889, all recorded in the 1891 Canada census record.  James Fergus was born later in 1891, followed by Ida Beth in 1896, and Sarah Mildred in 1899.

The 1901 Canada census shows the entire family together.  Sarah died later in 1901, just short of her second birthday.  In the 1911 Canada census, only Alberta, Minnie, James and Ida were living at home.  Alberta was a school teacher, and Minnie and James were listed as students.  A farm hand lived with the family.  In the 1921 Canada census, only Minnie Ethel and Ida Beth were at home.
