Notes:  Rebecca Dunn Detwiller was born 25 Oct 1860 in Fullarton Twp., Perth, Ontario.  Her parents were Alexander Detwiller and Elizabeth Parker.  She grew up on the family farm, on Lot 31, Concession E. of Mitchell Rd., Fullarton Twp., Perth.  She was the oldest of 13 children.  In the 1871 Canada census, Fullarton Twp., her siblings included Marion, born in 1862, Christopher, 1863, Elizabeth, 1865, John, 1867, and Alexander, 1870.  Bertha, born in 1869, died as an infant, and Christopher was to die in 1876.  In the 1881 Canada census, Fullerton Twp., her additional siblings were Annie, born in 1873, William, 1875, James, 1876, and Isabella, 1878.  By 1885, the family was complete, with the addition of Innis, 1883, and Robert, 1885.
The McNaught Family Rebecca married Henry Alexander McNaught on 5 Oct 1881 in the Avonbank Presbyterian Church in Fullarton Twp., Perth.  Henry was a beekeeper and a farmer.  Rebecca and Henry's first child Alberta was born in 1882, followed by Russell, 1884, David Vernon, 1885, Minnie Ethel, 1888, and Harry Lorne, 1889.  After the 1891 Canada census, James Fergus was born in 1891, followed by Ida Beth, 1896, and Sarah Mildred, 1899.  The family lived on the the McNaught farm known as Deerbank.  The 1901 Canada census records the entire family together.  Sarah died later in 1901, just short of her second birthday.

In the 1911 Canada census, only Alberta, Minnie Ethel, James and Ida Beth were living at home.  Alberta was a school teacher, and Minnie and James were students.  A farm hand lived with the family.  In the 1921 Canada census, only Minnie Ethel and Ida Beth were living at home, and there was a another boarder.

About 1928, Rebecca and Henry left Deerbank and moved into the nearby town of Monkton.  Henry died 17 Nov 1931 at Monkton.  Rebecca died 17 Dec 1939, and is buried alongside her husband in North Logan/Harvey's Cemetery, Logan Twp., Perth, Ontario.
