Notes:  James Franklin Spainhower and Harriett Martineau Fishback were married 27 May 1914 in Los Angeles County, California.  Their son John Everett was born 27 Aug 1914, probably in Alhambra.  In 1917 when James registered for the World War draft, the family was living at 407 S. Palm Avenue in Alhambra.  He was a salesman for the Jewel Tea Company in Los Angeles.  In 1920, the family was living at 123 S. Palm Avenue, Alhambra.  James was now a fireman.  The couple evidently divorced, as Harriett married George Baisley in 1928.  *Their son John took his new stepfather's surname, but was not adopted.
