Notes:  Hans Johansen and Maren Rasmusdatter were married 10 Dec 1881 in the Søllested Kirke, Søllested, Odense, Denmark.  They had thirteen children, all born in Søllested.

Rasmus Peder Johansen was born 30 Apr 1882, and died 18 Feb 1883.  Johan Peter was born 27 Jul 1883, followed by Frederikke Margrete on 22 Aug 1885, Jensine on 22 Aug 1887, and Marie on 19 Apr 1889.  The 1890 Danish census lists Hans and Maren in Søllested, with Johan Pedar, Frederikke Margrete, Jensine and Marie.

Daughter Rasmine was born 31 Aug 1891, followed by Rasmus Jørgen on 18 Nov 1893, and Kirstine on 1 Sep 1894.  Kirstine died the day she was born.  Hans Karl was born on 25 Sep 1895, followed by Lauritis Kristian on 9 Sep 1896.  Laurits died 8 Jun 1897, barely 7 months old.  Their next son, also named Laurits Kristian, was born 22 Jan 1898, followed by Kirstine on 25 Jul 1900.  The 1901 Danish census lists Hans and Maren in Søllested with their ten living children.  Hans is listed as a blacksmith.

Their last son Otto was born 11 May 1902 and died 26 Apr 1903.  In 1904, Johan Peder and Frederikke Margrete traveled by way of Liverpool, England, aboard the S.S. Carpathis to the United States.  Their destination was Perth Amboy, New Jersey, where their half-sister Dorthea Hansen was living with her husband Christian Møller.  Rasmine may have followed in 1907.

The 1906 Danish census lists Hans in Søllested, but omits his wife.  The children include Jørgen, Hans Karl, Laurits Kristian, and Kirstine.  Then the daughters started to marry.  Jensine married Søren Madsen on 23 Jan 1910.  Marie married Hans Rabøl Jørgensen on 9 Jul 1910.  Kirstine married Thorvald Christiansen on 21 Jun 1919.

The 1916 Danish census lists Hans and Maren in Søllested.  In the 1921 Danish census, their son Laurits Christian is living with them.  Hans died 8 Jan 1923 in Søllested, and was buried 13 Jan 1923 in the Søllested Kirkegaard.  In the 1925 and 1930 Danish census' Maren is living with her son Lauritis Christian.  Maren died sometime after after 1933.
