Notes:  Garn Arthur Brown married Lemira Bishop on 3 May 1947 in the home of her parents in Delta, Millard, Utah.*  They made their home in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, where they raised six children.  Their address in 1951 and 1952 was 987 Windsor. Garn worked for thirty years as an Excise Tax Agent for the Internal Revenue Service.  He was one of the founders of the Treasury Credit Union, and a member of the LDS Church.  Lemira was active in the LDS Church, serving in the Primary, YWMIA and Relief Society.  She made quilts, tended her garden, and was a league bowler. Garn died 8 Apr 1991 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah.  Lemira died a few months later in their Salt Lake City home on 13 Oct 1991.  They are buried in the Salt Lake City Cemetery, Salt Lake City, Utah. *The Utah, Select Marriage Index, 1875-1985 gives the marriage place as Salt Lake County, Utah.
