"Young Gentleman's Party."  Alhambra Advocate, Alhambra, Cal., Saturday, December 9, 1899, Vol. 2, No. 10, p. 1.
The opening dance of the season by the young men of Alhambra was held at Parish Hall, San Gabriel, last Friday evening, December 1st.  The attendance was quite large, including many from Los Angeles and Pasadena.  Music was furnished by the Carl Freize orchestra.
Among those present were the Misses Alice DeCamp, Ida Olson, Jeannette Green, Josie Olson, George Jaques, Madge DeCamp, Josephine Stokes, Mrs. D. W. Wallace, Misses Amy and Mary Noble of Los Angeles; Misses West, Lowry, Floysinger and Webster of Pasadena; Messrs. Lawrence Arnold, Henry Olson, Clarence Williams, Horn Lane, Roy Murray, Walter Wallace, Walter Lattin, Joseph Winsor, Dr. D.B. Wallace, Parker, Allen, Jones, Charles Paintey, West of Pasadena.
