"Henry J. Olson." Alhambra Post Advocate, Alhambra, California, Wednesday, May 9, 1934, Vol. XXXVIII, No. 192, p. 7. Henry J. Olson, 54 years of age, of 420 North Second street, passed away early this morning at his home. He was born in Nevada and had resided in Alhambra for 53 years. He had been proprietor of the Alhambra Planing Mill for more than 30 years.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Amy N. Olson; a son, Donald K. Olson; his mother, Mrs. Mary Olson; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Lawyerand Mrs. Mabel Ferrell, both of Alhambra, and Mrs. Lillian Carr of Little Rock, Calif., and two brothers, Frank T. and George A. Olson, both of Alhambra.
He was a member and past master of Alhambra Lodge No. 322, F.& A.M.; San Valley Chapter No. 100, R.A.M., Alhambra Council; Al Malaikah Shrine; Alhambra Lodge No. 127, Knights of Pythias; a member and past eminent commander of Alhambra Commandery No. 48, Knights Templar, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He was a former member of the Alhambra Kiwanis Club.
Funeral arrangements in charge of Turner, Stevens & Turner will be announced later.
